The full form of FSSAI

The full form of FSSAI is the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. It is a statutory regulatory body established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, operating under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. FSSAI is responsible for protecting and promoting public health by regulating and supervising food safety, including setting standards for food products, regulating their manufacture, storage, distribution, sale, and import to ensure safe and wholesome food for consumption in India.
